Background
Joren is a founding partner and a litigator. His practice covers criminal, civil, and administrative litigation and legislative advocacy, and he also handles special projects and labor matters for the firm.
He has acted for clients in the automotive, tobacco, food and beverage, packaging, oil and gas, and technology and media industries, and has appeared before government agencies, trial and appellate courts, and the constitutional commissions. He brings a tactical, meticulous approach to contested matters, however complex.
He previously served as Chief Political Affairs Officer to a Representative of Quezon City.

- Represented a multinational packaging joint venture in its claim for more than ₱700 million arising from a fire at one of its plants in the Philippines
- Acted for a food manufacturer in a white-collar criminal case involving losses of at least ₱60 million
- Led the defense of elected national officials in an election protest
- Advised a tobacco manufacturer on introducing a new consumer device to the Philippine market
- Served as campaign manager for candidates for national and local office
